Cover Reveal: Never Enough by Lea Griffith

BY DJ DeSmyter, OCTOBER 16, 2014 | PERMALINK

As we head into colder weather, we need all the heat we can get. Luckily, Lea Griffith's cover for Never Enough, the second installment in her All or Nothing series, has plenty of fire to go around. So, without further ado, here we go!

Dixie Mafia boss Dante Shaw always gets what he wants. And what he wants is police detective Savannah Cavanaugh. A Dom whose games have become as cold and empty as his heart, Dante instantly recognizes the dedicated cop during a visit to The Underground — only this time Savannah’s wearing nothing but a thong and high heels. Until now, waging a war of vengeance against his own syndicate had been all that mattered. But after embracing the perfect sub, Dante reconnects with his deepest emotions — and realizes he’s trapped between heaven and hell.

Savannah is no rookie. She knows how quickly this could all come tumbling down. And yet she can’t fight her deep attraction to Dante, nor can she deny him the one thing he craves most: her total submission. In the shadow of danger, Savannah finds a love she never could have expected. But she’s mixing business with pleasure — and her business is the law. How far will she go to surrender to a man for whom pleasure is never enough?

BY Elisa Verna, OCTOBER 15, 2014 | PERMALINK

Happy Hump Day, smut lovers! Today we've got an excerpt from the bundled print editions of Anything He Wants and Castaway by Sara Fawkes. In this scene, Lucy has a fantasy about a sexy coworker that comes true when she finds herself alone with him in the office elevator. See, dreams can come true! In romance novels, at least. Enjoy!

The high point of my workdays lately was seeing the gorgeous stranger every morning.

Tropeoween: Halloween Costumes For Your Favorite Romance Trope - Naive BDSM Heroine

BY Elisa Verna, OCTOBER 09, 2014 | PERMALINK

All week long we’re celebrating Tropeoween here on the RT blog. What is Tropeoween, you ask? Why it’s a celebration of trope-y romance Halloween costumes, of course! Here's what we've covered so far:

The Newbie Shapeshifting Wolf Heroine (Who Also Might Be A Paranormal Investigator).

The Virgin Secretary to the Billionaire CEO (Who is About to Not be a Virgin At All)

The Awkward YA Heroine Who Just Discovered She's A Witch

Today's costume is our rendition of the Innocent BDSM Heroine. She's fresh out of college, has only had sex with a few guys and really, really likes the mysterious, hot older guy she just met. In fact, she's willing to do just about anything to keep him.

Cover Breakdown: Silver Bastard by Joanna Wylde

BY Elisa Verna, OCTOBER 08, 2014 | PERMALINK

In lieu of Hump Day (don't worry, it'll return next week), today I'm breaking down the recently revealed cover of Joanna Wylde's Silver Bastard, which begins her new Silver Valley series, a spin off of her current Reaper's Motorcycle Club series. Now, I love the Reaper's MC series. Reaper's Stand just released yesterday and I devoured it. Wylde isn't afraid to write terrible people who do unforgivable things, and her characters are profoundly unapologetic. And yet, I end up loving them by the end of the book. In Reaper's Stand we meet young MC prospect Puck, who is getting his own story with Silver Bastard. Wylde recently shared the cover of her April 2015 release, and I took a nice, long look:

Black Lies by Alessandra Torre

Published: September 2014

Genre: Contemporary Romance

The Story: RT editors are already giant fans of Torre, who wrote July’s Seal of Excellence winner The Girl in 6E as A.R. Torre. And friends, we must tell you, people are freaking out about this book. The reviews are over-the-top effusive as they elude to the twist and how this book redefines the genre. At face value it’s the story of a woman who loves two men: tech billionaire Brant and lawn guy Lee. But as one Amazon reviewer wrote: “I actually have one passage highlighted with the note: “SHUT. UP.” So … we’re buying it.
